How it works

Three steps, and no surprises in between

1

Tell us the situation

A short conversation or a two-minute form. What you're protecting, who depends on you, and roughly what you can commit each month. No medical exam to get started.

2

We shop the market

We run your profile against the carriers we're appointed with and bring you the options that actually fit — including the ones that cost us less commission when they're the better answer.

3

Apply with someone beside you

We complete the application together, keep you posted through underwriting, and review the policy with you when it's issued. Then we check in annually, because your life changes.

Who you'll talk to

A licensed agent, not a call center queue

You'll work with the same licensed agent from the first phone call through the day your policy is issued — and afterward, when your family needs to file a claim or you want to revisit your coverage.

That agent is fully bilingual. Quotes, applications, policy reviews, and claim support are all available in Spanish, which matters when the person making the decision and the person who needs to understand it aren't always the same person in the room.

We're independent. We're not employed by an insurance company and we're not required to lead with a particular product. When term insurance is the right answer, we'll tell you that, even though permanent coverage pays us considerably more.

Common questions

The questions we get asked first

Does working with an agent cost me anything?
No. There is no fee for our services. When a policy is issued, the insurance company pays the agency a commission that is already built into the policy's premium — the same premium you would pay applying directly to that carrier. You do not pay less by going around us.
Which states do you serve?
We are licensed in Texas and Iowa. Most of our work is in Texas, and we can serve clients anywhere in the state. If you're outside Texas or Iowa, we'll tell you plainly rather than take your information.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Our agent is fully bilingual and every part of the process — the quote, the application, the policy review, and claim support for your family — is available in Spanish. Puede comunicarse con nosotros completamente en español.
Will I get flooded with calls if I fill out the form?
No. Your information stays with our agency. We do not sell, rent, or share leads with third-party marketers or lead aggregators. One licensed agent will contact you, and if you tell us to stop, we stop.
What if I've been declined before?
Insurance companies underwrite health conditions very differently, and a decline from one carrier says little about the rest of the market. Because we're independent, a decline usually means we change carriers rather than give up. Tell us what happened and we'll be direct about what's realistic.
How fast can I actually get covered?
With accelerated underwriting and a clean health history, approval can come within a few days. Cases requiring medical records or a paramedical exam typically run three to six weeks. Final expense policies are often decided in days. We'll give you a realistic timeline at the start rather than at the end.
